I run a small practice in South Oxfordshire which I started in January 2001.
My principal interest lies in church projects. These range from new buildings, through commissions to adapt and re-order, to the conservation of historic church buildings and Quinquennial inspections.
I am accredited in building conservation under the AABC scheme, which involves periodic peer-review of my knowledge and experience in conservation work.
I take on a wide variety of other architectural projects, bringing to them my substantial experience of working for larger practices in London, Cumbria and Oxfordshire.
I also undertake specialist consultancies for several national practices.
I am regularly appointed by legal firms to provide expert witness services, acting also as a single joint expert where required.
I am a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Ecclesiastical Architects' and Surveyors' Association, Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings, and the Expert Witness Institute.
