This small development of six single bedroom units tucks into a site in the centre of the village.
We achieved the right scale as seen from the road by putting two of the units in a single storey building, and setting a 2-storey building, with four more flats, further back from the road.
Each flat has its own front door with adjacent binstore, the upper ones having their doors on the gable ends.
This is in an area adjacent to the Lake District National Park, and local slate was used for the roofs and local stone for the landscaping
